Q: How do I get there?
A: Use your favorite road atlas
to get to Hot Springs. Then use this map.
Q: What are we
doing?
A: It's a day-trip to the Park
for some trail-riding excitement, returning early that evening.
- Leave sometime early Sunday morning (yeah, I know, I'll have
some aspirin and Gatorade).
- Ride some trails
- Eat a picnic lunch
- Ride 'til we're sick of it
- Patch our stuff back together and head home
Q: What should I bring?
A: It depends on how
lucky you are. I'm bringing:
- Some cash for entry fees
- spare tire(s)
- jack(s)
- recovery straps/chains
- tools (what kind? All kinds.)
- spare parts
- an FRS/GMRS radio (very handy for vehicle-to-vehicle
communication, Wal-Mart has some for under $20 a pair).
- beverages (not sure if we can get away with booze at this
thing)
- lunch
- snackies, sunscreen, camera, camcorder, first aid kit, bail
money...
